Saturday, December 16, 2006 Blog for Imo Last night was Imo's 21st birthday party. Much fun was had by all due to many factors, one of which was theme of dress. Op Shop Formal Wear was a popular option. There were also a couple of "ladies" (who were really men), a "man" (who was really a lady!), a turtle, a fairy (or was it a ballerina?), an invisble man, a man in a cape, a biker chick, an angel, Elvis, a prisoner, a bicycle repair man, a bee, and many more... I really enjoyed the spontaneous singing of Darryl Braithwaite's Horses (I'll be riding on the horses, yeah yeah - way up in the sky lit-tle dar-lin' and if you fall I'll pick you up, I'll pick you up!) and Lean On Me. Luke, the 'lady' was particularly wrong over the course of the evening, when he begun shaking his tail feather while leaning against a wall, saying 'hop on board'! .... wrong! The fact that he had sneakers (instead of high heels!) didn't help, I guess... The cocktail frankfurts (or were they saveloys or little boys???) were really nice. Here's an interesting conversation that actually took place: Luke: Nice weiner. AJ: Ha! Yeah (talking about the frankfurts) Dee: (to Luke) You don't look Swedish! (thinking that Luke must've said He looks Swedish, with the black wig or something...) AJ/Luke: ??? Dee: Isn't that what you said? Hahahahaha Much fun. Anyway, enjoy the pics.
