Wednesday, July 14, 2004 I feel like a new man... Yo. What up? Had a cool week this week. Thursday night I went to see the Eon gang at Square Pegs and it was an awesome, rockin' set as was to be expected. Erica - I had Psycho Killer in my head ALL day on Friday. :) :) I also thought Paperbag was really cool, as well as many others which I have since forgotten the names of ;) Is it just me or do others think that that song (Paperbag) lends itself to a really cool echo effect of the lyric 'paperbag'? It's almost as if the music was already doing it... Anyway... Erica - please post setlist and or your thoughts on the evening in depth if you want to!! I know I'll read it :) On Saturday I went to the optometrist for the first time. I had a lot of fun getting my eyes tested and checked and reading the letters which were increasingly becoming crisper and clearer as the appointment progressed. "This one time, at the optometrist" (heheh) I had to say what the letters were and of course they were all a blur. I had to guess and or use common sense to say what they were but I think I must've stuffed up royally when the doctor said "Ok, that one was not so right Andrew" HAHAHAHAHHA. So I now know I am short sighted and have to wear glasses for watching TV/movies and driving. Got some "suave and stylish" frames as my Dad called them... :) I've just watched my first Star Trek (The Siege of AR-558) with my glasses on and everything was sooooooo clearer. The DVD menu was practically alive with colour and crispness!! "I can see clearly now the rain has gone..." I also have a new mobile which I'm very happy about. So yeah, mobile and glasses make AJ a happy boy... Oh and in case you, like I, can't wait for Missy Higgin's EP and her debut album, here's a pic of what to expect....
