Thursday, July 01, 2004 Happy New Financial Year!!! Yes, that's right, it is the start of the new financial year. I know this will excite accountants, tax-pack enthusiasts and generally those who are looking forward to a big tax return, like Erica seems to be... Seriously though - shouldn't we see some kinds of celebrations on the news about such a big event? This year I didn't have a big Financial New Year's Eve. Just a quiet one with Sim. I don't know - Financial New Year's Eve just isn't a really big event for me... so we are all one year older and the Earth has revolved once around the Sun... We make resolutions about cutting our spending and saving our money for sometime in the future, but do we really stick to it!? That's what I ask you my blogging readers? Another question - where were the fireworks? And was it just me or did the good people all around the world 'forget' to countdown into this FY? In other news, it is one week til Eon Automatic's gig in Blackburn! This excites me and I'm sure excites the Eon crew much much more than I. I'm really looking forward to it. Erica - have you started your ferocious plugging yet? Heheheheh Ummmm, what else has been happening? Not much - Am going to see Spiderman 2 on Sunday with Simon! That should be WICKED!!! GO WEB!!!! /me makes weird actions with a flick and a swish of the hand trying to get web to release... I'll be sure to tell you how I find the movie....
