Thursday, October 16, 2003 yoooooooooooooo Wednesday was fun... very fun indeed. It began when I saw a guy on the bus wearing a Harry Potter t-shirt, with a picture of Harry riding a broomstick which was really a gigantic joint. It said something along the lines of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stoned"... I then read Harry Potter 5 on the train into the city and it was a chapter called OWLs. much happened and 'twas generally very very cool... Met Simon, Nick and Lynton for ReciproCITY... Wandered down to Minotaur and picked up a comic, before eating some lunch then heading off to Historical Grammar. Learnt some things there... Down to Kaye House, mucked about on the comp for a while before having some dinner. Back up to Melb Uni for German Club Trivia and it was much fun... My brother came in (so RMIT AND La Trobe were well represented). We were on a table with Monique, as well as two people we didn't know - they proved to be very funny :) Memorable moments of the evening included the section where all the tables were asked for the best looking guy on their table to stand up. Shane didn't want to, thus I had to.. All those guys were then made into beautiful women - hmmm - mascara is painful.... Another highlight was going up the front in a "fastest finger" first thing, where you had to shout out your buzzer (mine was Turkey Tits) and then say the answer. I did quite well and won a shirt! It was a really great night and even though we didn't win (yeah, let's just leave it at that shall we?), I had much fun... :)posted by AJ | 6:20 PM | | ||
