Monday, September 01, 2003 hey everyone... Haven't updated in a little bit... Let's see - what have I been up to? On Thursday, I went with Erica to Knox to buy Scott's 21st pres, before eating a very sloppy bbq chicken pizza at her house, then going to Joel's house with Erica, Jesse and Kristene to test out his newly received DVD player for his 21st. It was really cool. "slimline"... Saw Gangs of New York and it was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. New York baffles me (still), but thanks to Joel's expert knowledge of USA and the states of America, I feel I understand it a little better... Read the book that everyone signed at Joel's party. Very cool. Friday, I think I worked... My memory is failing. Yeah, think I got called in. Thereafter, I purchased some new shoes!! WOOHOO! I then bought a frame and framed my Futurama poster which I am extremely happy with! (If you click the link, it's the first poster that appears) Scott's 21st was excellent and was attended by his closest friends. It was a very fun night with much pool playing (how did I keep winning...?), drinking and braving the Melbourne weather. Thanks for a great night, Scott! Happy birthday again buddy!!! Had to work AGAIN on Saturday (yes, slave to the wage...) but need the money. On Saturday night, I saw Finding Nemo with Joel and Erica. It was EXCELLENT!!! I highly recommend it. I think it was much better than Shrek (although my brother vehemently disagrees) and was definitely one of the most colourful movies I have ever seen. Gotta love Dory - she really made that movie! Sunday = work AGAIN!! I then went around to Erica's in the afternoon and made a good chunk of my photoboard. Looks pretty cool. Collage. Layered. Full. Ate vegetable soup which was very nice and was needed to warm us both up... It is now Monday and I have gone grocery shopping with Dad (fun!) and just got back from looking at decorations / costumes for my 21st. Must look for more costumes when in city...
