Following on from my previous post, yes I did go out to dinner with the other interns and it was really cool night.

Went to Tutu Tango for dinner (mexican restaurant, I think...) as one of the 6 of us interns picked up a casual job waitressing there. Was cool. Had the Chicken Hombre.

Then onto King O'Malley's Irish Pub which was pretty cool. It was so much cooler than that Irish pub in Knox (I've been away too long, I can't even remember the name... Let's just call it Shamus O'Flannigan's ok?). Wasn't feeling all that up for a big night, as being switched on for the entire day for the presentations really took it out of me, much to the chagrin of my mate and would-be drinking buddy, Greg.

We then hopped on over to Kingston (suburb here) and went to this groovy place called B-Bar. They had THE best music. It was excellent. House-y, with a few (not too many) commercial remixes chucked in for good measure). The walls were kinda smoke-grey and the lights were this softish yellow colour. Cool colours. At B-Bar, tequila slammers and a lot (a lot!!!) of Tequila Sunrises were consumed. Was a fun evening. Will have to have a look at the photos that were taken with a disposable camera.

At this stage was very drunk. Headed down to Lot 33, which was this club dominated by reds and blacks. Played trance-y music. Much dancing. Out til 4am is a pretty good effort methinks

I am now preparing to go into the city (or Fyshwick?) with friends to buy alcohol for my going away party this evening. Even though I'm not going for a week, I wanted to have something on a Saturday night as many people could come then.
Ingredients for bucket punch are as follows:
3 * 4L white goon
2 * 1.125L Vodka
1 * 1L tequila
6 * tins of fruit juice (pineapple and sunshine crush, I'm told)

Was about 45 litres, methinks.

Have I told you guys about the First Year Wedding? That's today. Two first years at Fenner get "married" to each other, using "LASER beams". These "LASER beams" are in fact irrelevant. Anyway, last night was the Hen's and Buck's Night. As I was out with other interns, couldn't join those guys but am told it was much fun. The "wedding" (with or without the "LASER beams") is taking place tonight. Should be fun.

Need food.
Need breakfast. (Yes, check the timestamp!)
I feel a Macca's run coming on.
