Wednesday, May 21, 2003 I didn't think my Subway comment would create such controversy.... Just wanted to note the fact that there were two stores within, maybe, a minute's walk of each other. By the way, if you couldn't tell, I Iistened to Alanis' Jagged Little Pill album recently. Hence the "ironic, don't you think?" comments on my and also Keri's blog. Meanwhile, Erica hasn't updated her blog in two weeks...no love. no love. Oh well... all in good time. Ummmmm so what's news. Buffy was EXCELLENT this week... Andrew is officially da man. He reads microwave instruction manuals... ahhhhhhhh Angel was good, but not as good/funny as Buffy, methinks... Went to uni today to research for my Culture and Business Practice in East Asia essay and was searching the ANU library catalogue for sources. Chanced upon TWO authors with the surname Devine who had written books, relevant to language and learning. Zimon, is this Nominative Determinism? Thought it was very odd... Also, discovered that a building at ANU (the Hanna Neumann Building) is named after my friend's grandmother. What an honour. I think that's all... Very excited to hear that Ang is on 90.7 Syn FM on Saturday nights from 7-8:30 (i think). She joins the illustrious list of people I know (Kane, Alicia, Lucie) who have also hosted a show on SYN FM.
