Sunday, January 05, 2003 Hey, what up? I saw the film ADAPTATION at Cinema Europa Knox with Joel and Erica on Friday night. VERY memorable. VERY choice. Just one of those movies that makes you think more about the life you lead. And boy, was it funny...!!? Visit the Menu for some info about it, if you wish. We dined at the Red Salmon along the O-Zone of Knox also. The food and service were both very good. Recommended. I also borrowed the george DVD - Polyserena In Bloom from Erica. Pretty good... As a fan of theirs BEFORE they became the huge platinum selling band, I have almost all of their cds/eps/lps including a signed copy of the special ones single. Very nice. There looks to be some good content on the DVD - most notably an acoustic version of Spawn and an unbelieveable version of Breaking It Slowly on GMA with Bert! Oh, that reminds me, Erica - the best thing about the Smashing Pumpkins Vieuphoria DVD is the acoustic version of Cherub Rock and also the rendition of Soma (with cello!) in the Lost '94 Tapes section... (I'm not even sure if she'll read this, but who cares) Most of Saturday was spent going to instrument shops and browsing for a musical keyboard. I ended up buying one and am very happy with it.... although there is one note that is giving me some grief. I have to push it very hard for it to respond. Might have to see what I can do about that... :) Have a lovely day/evening/night. Simon - we are now going to the Dali exhibition on Monday the 6th of Jan and are meeting Lucy at 1pm under the clocks at Flinders St Station... seeya!posted by AJ | 3:35 PM | |
