Friday, June 24, 2005 Billy Corgan wants to reform The Smashing Pumpkins Billy Corgan, from an ad in the Chicago Tribune wrote, "For a year now I have walked around with a secret, a secret I chose to keep. But now I want you to be among the first to know that I have made plans to renew and revive The Smashing Pumpkins. I want my band back, and my songs, and my dreams." My little heart did a giddy-up when I read this. I couldn't believe it and had to read it about three times before I actually BELIEVED what I was reading. This is AWESOME news... In other news, I'm going to see Billy Corgan perform LIVE at the Palais in late July. It's going to rock. Although he has stated he will not be performing any SP songs at his concerts around the world, with the news of a possible Pumpkin reformation, I can start singing "Today is the greatest day I've ever known..."
