Merry Christmas to all!!!

I have been officially slack on the blogging front, due to working and really just doing other stuff. D'oh!!! It's been fun though....

I had a really interesting train trip into the city today. I always love it when you are able to watch a train fill up and the choices that the passengers make in their seating arrangements. Generally, if possible, I choose to sit in the section of the carriage with only two seats next to each other that are not part of the 4- or 6-seat little clump. I do this mainly because I don't particularly like people's knees being where they shouldn't and having to face someone I don't know for about 40 minutes.

Anyway, three of the 6-clump seating arrangements, where three people face three other people, had only two people sitting in them and they were all in the same arrangement. The two people were each facing the direction that the train was going and were seated at the aisle and then the other person was seated next to the window. Most of the incoming passengers chose to sit inbetween the aisle and the window seats and chose to face the opposite way, to create a staggered effect. Of course when this zig-zag has occurred, the next lot of passengers are forced to (gasp!) sit NEXT TO someone. It's quite funny and this one time... on band camp (meaning this morning), a rather large gentleman (in both height and girth) squeezed down between two people. I almost laughed out loud, but repressed it. Quite extraordinary really.

This morning on the train, I was listening to a new CD I purchased - Evermore's Dreams. I really like it. It's mellow, yet moody and also kind of rocky. Epic. Whenever I listen to music, but especially on the train cos your mind wanders and becomes imaginative and expressive, I view things like the soundtrack of that song, the videoclip if you will. As our train was approaching Camberwell station, I noticed another train was coming from the Alamein line to meet us on an adjacent track before reaching Camberwell's platforms. I was intensely gazing out the window (I was facing the opposite direction the train was going, did I mention that?) and my eyes were met with the other train passengers' eyes, looking baffled and confused as to why I was looking into their little world that was their carriage. It was cos I was really getting into the music (as I am now, actually - I'm listening to the same song. Track x. Wicked track) and wanted the videoclip to climax with the music. I guess the intensity in my eyes must've reflected this. I did get some great looks from the people in there though.

Mastercard. Priceless.

Anyway, that's it from me. Merry Christmas to all. May you receive all the presents you wished for, except for one so that you may forever have something to look forward to.

Take care and I hope to see you very soon.
