Tuesday, January 13, 2004 Op-Shopping goodness. That's right, taxpayers. Op shops are good, family fun. You can find good things there! Admittedly, some (read: most) of the items in op shops, or "community stores" as so many are now called, are not so good but once in a while, you may just stumble upon some bargains. Picked up two pairs of old school trousers, a pair of denim shorts (which has the opening to the pockets SEWN up!?) and also a nice black dressy going out shirt. It said Ralph Lauren and had the polo image on the front. Makes me think it's like my fake Chinese Lauren shirt - looks good but is a nice rip off if ever I saw one :) Alas, Erica was not so lucky. Maybe her better op-shopping finding days are ahead of her. Also had quite a nice lunch at the Summer Bay "Diner"-esque cafe up in Heathmont. mmm beef pie. Came home, with a delicious Mountain Dew Slurpee, logged on MSN and about 6 or 7 people were online! Was typing up a storm (like a madman!), making sure I was speaking to the correct people before pressing 'enter'. :) Some choice MSN quotes: Erin says: 'im a very caring potato' AJ says: you ARE! Matthew says: japanese girls disolve when they come in contact with rain LOL Song of the moment: Well, I heard Spiderbait's little ditty Calypso in the car today, but Basement Jaxx's Good Luck is also cool. posted by AJ | 5:35 PM | |
