Thursday, January 15, 2004 The Majestic Just finished watching a beautiful, amazing movie - The Majestic - with Jim Carrey. Maybe I'm very fickle and think everything that I've seen of late is getting better and better, or is it actually doing so? From Lost in Translation to The Pianist to I Am Sam to The Majestic - they are all beautiful, well-crafted films. The Majestic combined two of my favs - movies and the law. I AM THE LAW! lolol. who said that, btw...? No, seriously, it was beautiful. Was very cool. Touching. Also spoke a lot about leading the life you want to, no matter the ramifications, to a degree. Am listening to Basement Jaxx's album Kish Kash. It's very active; in-your-face. I like it. Basement Jaxx (and that style of music, whatever their style of music is) will forever remind me of Queer As Folk, I think. It just has a whole vibe to it. Speaking of which, a new season is approaching. Should be good. I don't know about you but I love that show - I think it really divides people, people love it or hate it.
