Tuesday, December 30, 2003 As a previous entry indicates, I have now seen Return of the King. It was fantastic. I think I liked it the best of the 3 films, but I could just be saying that as this one tied everything up nicely... It was very sad at some stages toward the end, and on multiple times I thought it was going to end, but was then surprised and happy that we were continuing the journey with the Fellowship. At one stage in the movie, I became very aware that I was watching it with about 300 others. There was a scene without score or dialogue for just a few seconds, and even though the silence of the film made its way through to the seated audience, (which was a feat in itself), I was still conscious of the fact that I was but one of hundreds sitting experiencing the same movie, but that we all got something different and special out of it. Very hot today. Am sweating and sticking to this chair... Really must leave because of that reason. Also, thanks to Simon for the AWESOME Futurama blog. I will be sure to do something with it.
