Yesterday was pretty cool wasn't it? Worked in the morning, then bought a book (Scrutator by Ian Irvine) from Borders at Knox and realised just how hot it really was... I was in a jumper to hide the fact I had just come from Kmart, realising there were all the beautiful people at Ozone, wearing singlets and t-shirts and enjoying the weather. It was pretty darned tootin

At home, I had some lunch and watched Stargate - Daniel Jackson died. They didn't even make it sad, it was pretty lame I thought. Bet on the Caulfield Cup. Didn't win. Mucked about. Slept. Watched Iron Chef - wow - that was very very cool... I then went to Eug's, where we saw Chicago, two Season 3 Buffy episodes and The Best of SNL Mike Myers. His character "Middle Aged Man" was very funny

He's Middle Aged Man
Aged somewhere between 40 and 55
His superannuation is accruing, but he is
losing his sex-drive!

I really enjoyed Chicago - wasn't at all surprised to see that Bob Fosse, from Cabaret fame, was behind most of it. It was very enjoyable and in my opinion deserved a Best Picture Oscar. Hmmmm...

Now I have to write an assignment, where I must explain (in German) the terms "mateship", "a fair go" and "tall poppy syndrome"

PLEASE HELP ME! I am struggling... :)
