Friday, September 12, 2003 What up? How goes it? Haven't updated in a little bit. Not since that random tangent blog entry... 'Twas fun though... Soooooooo.... Was ist passiert? I'm sure Zimon was pleased with the doco on the life and times of Dr. Kissinger. It was fascinating. My knowledge of such important things in the world is really appalling. Here I am getting excited about something so random, and pointless, as German grammar, when there is such horrific events occurring all around the world that I'm completely oblivious to. Must watch more docos. Zimon - perhaps a thought for ReciproCITY - a "TV station" section or etwas ähnliches, which alerts ignorant students like myself to things we should be watching, in order to stay informed about this world of ours.... Question: Why do they only have President Nixon as the Big Bad on Futurama (in his role as the Earth President), when they could easily make a very nice character out of Dr. Kissinger's escapades...? Anyway... Hmmmm, Protestant or Catholic in Northern Ireland... The question must be asked. Or must it? THAT is the question! Amazing Race is/was as 'amazing' as ever. "Sadly", Millie the Mole and Chuck, who is in a perpetual state of becoming a werewolf were eliminated from the race. Wie Schade! And the look on their faces (more on Chuck's werewolf face actually) when Reichen and Chip said they were gay and were celebrating their 1 year anniversary and when Jon and Kelly said they had been living in sin was sooooo precious. Good times, good times... In other news, I just received an email from my Parliamentary Supervisor which contained a reference from my time as an intern at Parliament House!!! Very exciting and I hope it will be of use in the future... It was such a wonderful experience and I feel so honoured for being a part of it.... What else, what else.... Organisation for my 21st Birthday Party is chugging along.. It will be a great night, I'm sure. (Have you all got your costumes ready...?) It's always the way... I think I have so much to write on here, then I go to and it seems I forget or have very little to write. AHA! I remembered something! I have finished Geomancer and have started reading Harry Potter 5! It is very gripping and I am enjoying it immensely. Does anyone else think reading at night is so much more superior (or at least better) than reading during the day? I bought that ZERO t-shirt I saw at Smoke Dreams. Last night's "Punk'd" was hilarious. Very funny indeed. Those fans of Jessica Alba (Joel, Will, ... Erin) will appreciate the fact that she was punk'd last night. The red carpet part where the 8 year old kid grilled celebrities was also cool.. In un/related news, Elixir, the side project of george, featuring Katie and Nick, are playing at Bennets Lane on Oct 3 and 4. If interested, I think I'll be going along to the Oct 3 gig. Email or leave comments. Luke, Adele, Joel S and Erica all seemed keen. Will be a good night. Fav songs at the moment: Smashing Pumpkins - Jennifer Ever Coldplay - Crests of Waves (Please tell me if you download these songs.. I'm keen to see whether it's worth putting things up here, to see if anyone downloads them... posted by AJ | 3:59 PM | |
