Sunday, September 14, 2003 Had a fun weekend... Friday night my efforts to go and have dinner with some people were foiled as they all lead their own productive lives.... Must keep that in mind for future. Worked on Saturday, then went to Billy Hyde Music and looked at sheet music for Beck with Erica, Joel and Joel. Sheet music is cool. I like sheet music. Playing keyboard is fun. We then went to look for Joel's costume for my 21st bday party at a Costume Hire Place... He decided upon a very cool one. Won't spoil it for everyone by divulging what it is... You'll have to wait til Friday night. Saturday night was Beck's 21st party in Upwey and that was a lot of fun. Sitting around the fire, talking etc... Eug commented that it (the party) reminded her of still being in high school, as opposed to going to 'just another party'. I disagreed, as I think I (and many others) have changed considerably since Year 12. Beck's 21st was not just another party but rather a close friend's 21st. And it was much fun, indeed. Good luck to Will, who hopefully battled through at The Pool Room... Can safely say I have no desire to go there, whatsoever. I wonder if he got his wine glass back from Joel... Sunday was a nice lazy day and unfortunately I didn't do as much homework as I would've liked to. Oh well, you get that... I just don't know when I'm going to have time to prepare for my german presentation... :( Luke then came around and dropped off a plec and a coaster with Chris Martin's (from Coldplay) signature on it. It says "All the best Chris Martin". Is cool. Thanks Luke. He also gave me US$1. Thanks for that too...!! Kind of matched my attempts to learn to play Coldplay's Life Is For Living today. Am making progress. Just got back from my cousin's birthday dinner, where we had sooooooo much food. Was great. Met my little cousin's g/f. He's in Year 10. Let's just see how many things I ate tonight... - antipasto - mushroom ravioli - zucchini slice - chicken parmiagana - cauliflower - tiramisu Am very full. Don't think I can move... Must work all day tomorrow. And Thursday... The $ will be good, I guess. Preparations for 21st is going well. PLEASE!! TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE NOT RSVPed, LEAVE A COMMENT OR EMAIL ME OR SOMETHING SO THAT I KNOW YOU'RE COMING. IT'S CRUCIAL FOR CATERING/ENTRANCE PURPOSES. I would appreciate it a lot.
