Tuesday, August 05, 2003 Haven't updated in a while... Am currently in Kirsten's room using her comp (Hi Kirsten!!). Went to National Gallery on Monday. Was excellent. The Australian Art section floored me. really really cool stuff.... Walked back through Civic to Fenner. A good few Ks. My legs were feeling it afterwards... :) In the evening I went to watch the Fenner Girls play netball, they played against Johns.Unfortunately we lost by 3. Netball's a fun game. I like it... Should organise a mixed netball team when I get back, that'd be tops. Was told on Saturday night to keep that evening free by Dayna. Nicole and Dayna surprised me by taking me late night shopping to Woolworth's. We bought waffles, chocmint ice magic, ice cream, Jatz and dips. That all went with a trifle they had made for me the night before - and it had the letter A (for Andrew!) on it. Was so sweet. Such a lovely gesture and a tops night all around. Chatted about all manner of things til 4:30 in the morning.... Today it was a really miserable day with hail and the like. Didn;t do much at all... read a lot of Geomancer (Erica, did you end up looking at that site with the alternate art for those books?). Slept quite a bit... Am now watching Jamie's Kitchen.... All is good. Am told by Nicole that I needed to explain Eagle Rock (as it was played at mny Going Away on Sat night) and what happens when that song comes on. It's a Fenner custom (at Southpac and otherwise) for the guys to drop their dacks and the girls take of their tops. So when I said that Eagle Rock came on (a song I don't really like btw), that tradition was honoured... ahahah posted by AJ | 10:09 PM | | ||
