Thursday, July 31, 2003 No time like the present this Emptiness kiss and a physical sickness I'm falling in fear again I know i'll never be here again EDIT: I forgot to mention the SCR Cocktail Party on Wednesday night!!! It was a chance to get all dressed up as Fenner officially opened the Senior Common Room (SCR). Was fun. Ate nibblies. Mingled. Wore suit. Was told my tie clashed with my shirt. It probably did. Alas, they were both clean... Was told have bad etiquette. Was told I should've used a double windsor for the shirt I was wearing. (If I knew more than one way of tying knots in ties, I probably would have...) Not sure why but felt really down, deflated-styles, for a good part of the evening and was generally quite a bastard. I believe I have already apologised to those parties I offended quite considerably. The photos of me from that evening show my disdain for human life in general...with Nicole's photos showing me: a) with my head down, resting on my arm as if can't bare to look up..., b) looking directly and absently at the camera, and c) looking at Elizabeth while in mid-conversation with a look of utter acrimony and disdain Was strange.
