Saturday, July 19, 2003 Hello all. Had an interesting night. Had a Cocktail Party. Was very cool. Spontaneous. Random. Styles. Fenner. Also Luke smsed me and said he met Coldplay!! I am a huuuuuuuuuge Coldplay fan and was very very very very very very very very very very very very disappointed when I found out they'd be in Melb/Sydney when I was in Canberra. Luke said I could have the guitar pic and the autograph he got from them! That's ace! Thanks mate!! Also my brother saw The Music last night. Were a few very good bands playing in Melbourne last night it seems... In other news, MURDER starts here at Fenner in a little while. It's a game where people sign themselves up and you have to shoot your victim with a water pistol without anyone else seeing you commit the crime. You then ring the MURDER HOTLINE and tell them your kill. If anyone sees you commit the crime, the witness calls the MURDER HOTLINE and it means that that kill doesn't count. You see, say it was myself, Zimon, Keri, Erica and Luke playing... I'd have to kill Zimon, Zimon might have to kill Keri, Keri would have to kill Erica and Erica would have to kill Luke. If I killed Zimon, I'd get one point and would get the person he was aiming to kill (Keri). This keeps going until you have a winner. It sounds like it could be a lot of fun.... Think I'll put my name down. I am told that people go to all lengths to score a kill. There's even this cool plaque in the Front Office with this splat of red paint and a golden water pistol over the top of it. It says MURDER in this scrawled engraving style and it looks pretty tops. Has anyone seen Series 7: The Contenders? It was one of the movies in the Movie Marathon and it is totally, TOTALLY!, messed up. It is a satire of all the Reality TV shows. 6 peoples' social security numbers are drawn and they become the Contenders. They have to kill the other 5 people then they win the game. Once you've won 3 games, ie killed 15 people, you are free to get on with your life. It is totally trippy. I recommend watching it, but it is really graphic and kind of freaked me out.
