Sunday, July 06, 2003 Hello all.... Have been reading Ian Irvine's book, Geomancer... It's really really cool. I'm a big fan of his prior work, having read all 4 books of his View from the Mirror quartet. I really recommend reading them. They're great - fantasy kinda books in the vein of Lord of the Rings (apparently, I haven't read them yet - I will. I promise). Received an sms from Zimon at 7:00pm this evening. It said: but i do, what i can. inch by inch, step by step, mile by mile, man by man. I think that is from Cabaret. Please say that's from Cabaret :) Incidentally, for some reason Zimon seems to think I can sing. I don't know who would've told him this and/or why it has been mentioned. But yes, I think I can sing. My friend Eug, AND KERI!!!!! and I were the leads in Pirates of Penzance when we were in Year 8. I played Frederick and Keri and Eug alternated in the role of Mabel. Apologies to Keri for not mentioning this...... Let's just say overly done make up on a guy does not work well... unless you're going for that whole Priscilla look. Suffice it to say, singing would have somehow been a factor in obtaining this part. Also, saw The Block tonight - a reality tv renovation show. This one is pretty funny. Have seen it once before. They make some cool rooms... esp the roller door - that was impressive! Thankyou to Zimon for creating a really excellent cover image for my report. I would make a link to it but cannot upload... It's really really cool. Tasteful. Classy. Lowercase. hahaha, I just spelt lowercase with an uppercase L. That's cruelly ironic. Nicole gets back from Geelong tomorrow night. WOOHOO!
