Saturday, July 05, 2003 Greetings! Someone visited my site, having looked up canberra lucy blog on google. Weird? Went and picked a friend up from the airport last night. She went home to Adelaide for about a week. Good to see her again. She wasn't phased by me killing her fish (or it dying actually...). In fact, she was so unphased that she has already thought of new names for fish... What's everyone up to for the weekend? I might hire a video tonight. My attempts to be super-stingy were foiled last week. You see, I tried to hire a weekly video on Monday night. On monday night it would have been $1. As I'm not a Canberran, nor do I possess anything that says I live here, they wanted me to leave a 50 dollar deposit for a stinkin weekly video. Suffice it to say that did not happen. Will try another place tonight, methinks. It's really dead here at Fenner. Got up and had some breakfast this morning and it was so deserted. Everyone's gone "home" for the semester break... I think I actually saw a tumbleweed go past..... Was great to hear from Luke who rang at about 6pm Friday night. Apologies if I sounded out of it. I just woke up....
