Sunday, March 23, 2003 The Brotherhood of the Face Hello everyone. I want you to think. Really really think. Have you ever seen someone who looks very similar to me? Think think think. On numerous occasions, I have had people ask if I have a twin/brother/cousin who looks exactly like me. (some say my brother looks like me, and yes to an extent, but not exactly like me...) So far, I have had people intimate that AJ-Doppelgangers have been spotted in the following places: -Airstream Cafe, Glen Waverley. I am told a waiter there "has my smile". -tutorials at Deakin University - goes by the name of "Tim". He "has the same shaped head". -The Secret Life Of Us (an extra), the wedding episode that just aired - As Miranda and her girlfriend kiss, when everyone has gathered around for the upcoming nuptuials between Alex and Rex (Anthony), there's a guy behind them, sipping a drink that looks exactly like me from certain angles. I believe I have video-evidence of that one.... Not that I watch it or anything ;) Hehe Following a bizarre conversation with a fellow Kmart employee about the amount of AJ-lookalikes in the Greater Melbourne area, he came up with quite an apt term for the weirdness, The Brotherhood of the Face. He asked whether: 1) I were a test-tube baby, b) or a beaker baby (like in Futurama, hehe) and, thirdly) if I were very ill as a child and had to take steroids, thus developing a common face/head shape Sadly none of these factors contribute to the fact that there are several people who like me.
